Day Trip To France

Hey Peeps,

I am sorry I have been a bit a-wall from twitter and 'real' content posts. But I have been on holiday this week and had an amazing time. It was also nice to have a  week away from the Internet and twitter; I am back now and I wanted to share with you the adventures i got up to this week. On Tuesday my mum surprised me by telling met that she is taking us to France for the day. I was very excited and I was looking forward to it so much.

We were staying in Kent for the week and so Tuesday morning we popped onto a train in our car to France. We arrived in Calie and then headed over to a little down just outside of Calie.  I was most looking forward to eating in France and for lunch we found a little quaint french restaurant that was absolutely perfect.  The place was very small but friendly and unique. For starter I had pate with french meats and a small side of salad dressed in a really sweet balsamic vinegar. After I had the dish I was most looking forward to... a whole bowl of french mussels. I am a huge fan of seafood and in particular prawns and mussels. I didn't manage to finish them all but I had a good go at it! After we walked around, the place is beautiful and my favourite part was walking around the old castle walls. The view was incredible.

In the evening we went to a huge french supermarket, it was so big that they were handing out maps so you could find your way around the place. We bought loads of food such as cheese, meats, bread, pastries, chocolate and much much more. The thing I was most excited to try was Bioderma. I have heard everyone talk about it and since I was in France I thought it would be a good time to get it and try it out. I will be doing a review on it when I was used it for awhile and can develop my own honest opinion of it.
