Opperation Blogger - My Box

Hey Peeps,

For the past few years now I have taken part in something amazing that gives children less fortunate than ourselves the chance to have a happy Christmas. The organisation is called Operation Christmas Child but in the blogging world it is Operation Blogger. All you need to do is fill a shoe box with lovely little presents that a child would enjoy and also need. If you would like to learn more about Operation Christmas Child click here to go to their website.

You will need a medium sized shoe box. I got mine from Clarks and if you don't have any you can pop into your local shoe shop and ask them if they have any spare boxes that they are otherwise going to throw away. You can wrap your shoe box in some festive Christmas wrapping ( I didn't have any so I am going to do mine in school!) and then select the gender and age you are going to make it for.

So here is a list of the things I have put in my box:

A5 notepad so they can use it at school
Pens for writing with
Gel pens for colouring and writing
Socks because it is tradition for everyone to receive socks at Christmas :)
2 toothbrushes & toothpaste
Nail vanish
Bracelets
Hairbands
Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner (mini sizes)

This is such a wonderful thing to do and it doesn't cost much to make a shoebox for a child who will benefit from it. If you are taking part in #OperationBlogger leave your link in the comments and I will add it to this page.
