Autumn New Look and Primark Haul

You will probably be seeing a lot of Autumn related posts coming up on MissBeccaBeauty in the next few weeks because lets face it Autumn is just an amazing month and there is so much to blog and talk about. I am afraid I can't find any links because Primark don't have a website and the New Look items were in the sale,,, sorry.

Last weekend we went out for lunch to celebrate my dad getting a new job and after out meal we decided to have a little walk around town. We ended up walking past a Primark and I couldn't not go in because Primark always have great and affordable pieces. I went in to get a new pair of slippers as, I saw these brown ugg-esk slippers on quite a few blogs and I really wanted to get my paws on them because they are only £4. Whilst in the shoe section getting my slippers I spotted two pairs of boots that I loved. I know Primark boots aren't the best quality and they will probably only last me this winter but honestly I don't mind. The first pair are sued Chelsea style boots (£10) that are actually really slimming on my feet and don't make them look chunky - I love how simple these are and I think I will wear them a lot... except when it's raining! The second pair (£15) are a bit chunkier and have a leather look finish with the top half as a quilted material, the heel on these boots are really nice as they give me a bit of extra height but I am still able to comfortably walk in them. Finally my favourite item from Primark is this huge tartan blanket scarf. I can probably guess that everyone and their mum will have this scarf this season - but oh well! It was only £5 and honestly is the so comfy and warm that I cannot wait to wear it on cold days.

Towards the end of August I popped into the New Look sales and found two gems on the rack for such a good bargain. The first is a mint green sweater (£7) with embroidered knitted flowers on the front. My immediate thought was that I could wear this all year round, the summer to Autumn transition and for the winter to spring transition. For Autumn I am thinking of wearing this layered over a checked shirt or with the tartan scarf from Primark. The last item I picked up was a grey over sized knitted cardigan - I have been after one of these for so long but all the ones I liked in TopShop were £50 and there was no way I was going to pay that. However in New Look this cardigan was only £7, the only down side is that it is a size 16 but I like the baggy look and I just roll the sleeves up.

Have you picked up any nice Autumn clothes yet from your favourite high street shops?

  1. I bought those exact biker boots this time last year and they're still going strong! I wore them constantly throughout last winter so the quality can't be that bad! They're insanely comfy too; I walked around London wearing them and my feet didn't hurt once!
