I am really pleased with the all the positivity these posts are generating in the comments and on my twitter account. I didn't intend for this to be a tag, but if you want to do a Wednesday Word post on you blog, either weekly monthly or just as a one off, then please feel free and it is great to read posts that are so helpful and full of advise. Let me know in the comments or on twitter if you are going to have a go as I would love to read some of the posts you come up with.
Anyway today I have a bit more of a girly quote for you today.'Don't let anyone ever dull your sparkle'. The way I look at this is that if you are good at something get out there are show everyone you are amazing at it (without boasting obviously). Having a talent is a very special thing and you should always strive to be the very best. In life you will come across people who will put you down for being good at something all because they are jealousy of you. It happens a lot in schools. When you get a bully picking on someone it is usually because they want to be as clever and confidant as the victim; this isn't right. Also for those of you who are Gossip Girl fans then you will understand this (if you are not, don't worry) but Blair had always been jealous of Serena and so Serena used to hide part of herself and take a back seat so that Blair would feel better about herself and that isn't right. You shouldn't let yourself or others dull your sparkle, you should shine as brightly as you possibly can.
So if you have people (or in the future come across people) who are trying to/do dull your sparkle for whatever reason then say something to them, without hurting their feelings. Because it is your life and you need to live it to the full!

You're right we need to just live life and not worry about what others have to say about it because they aren't us. So they should't try to bring us down. <3
